Penthouse 501 - Le Planay Terraces Residence

The Address

At the crown of Les Terrasses du Planay, carved into the rock of Val d'Isère, Penthouse 501 asserts itself with the quiet confidence that defines truly exceptional properties. Two levels: 365 sqm of private living space crafted without compromise, to which 192 sqm of terraces suspended between sky and summits are added.

An Exceptional Retreat

Conceived for those who understand that true luxury is not measured in square metres, but in moments preserved.

Penthouse 501 — Le Planay Teraces Residence

The Art of Entertaining

At the top level, the sense of space changes. The 126 sqm kitchen and living area opens beneath a timber structure with striking volumes, capturing the alpine light through carefully oriented south-facing openings. Here, light does more than pass through, it settles. It rests on the natural materials, glides over the aged wood, runs across the stone, and composes, throughout the day, ever-changing variations.

At the heart of the living space, the open fireplace naturally brings everyone together. A place you return to after a day on the slopes of the Espace Killy, before evenings that unfold around the fire. The space welcomes with ease, while preserving a true sense of intimacy.

South-facing terraces extend the living space outdoors. Over 190 sqm of terraces facing the peaks, among the most generous in the resort, with open views across the Espace Killy.

The Art of Living in Privacy

On the lower level, the atmosphere shifts. The Penthouse 501 reveals a more private side, entirely dedicated to privacy.

Seven bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, arranged with a well-balanced layout that gives everyone their own space. Life moves freely, between shared moments and quieter, more restful ones. Each bedroom is a world of its own, a space designed to retreat, above all.

The principal suite features a 16 sqm dressing area, where the day begins as it ends. A quieter space, in natural continuity with the rest of the apartment. A moment you return to each day, as a sense of calm settles in.

Discretion, at Your Service

The Penthouse 501 has been designed with particular attention to the seamless discretion of service. The staff cabin, with its fully independent entrance, allows your team to accompany the rhythm of the house, with a level of discretion that naturally preserves your living spaces.

Breakfast is served, the house is maintained, the spa is ready, and none of it requires your attention. This is precisely what defines effortless living.

A dedicated laundry room, private cellars connected to the ski room, a private garage with charging station, everything has been considered in advance, so nothing interrupts the flow of your time in the mountains.

Spaces of Wellbeing

After a day on the slopes, the Penthouse 501 offers two distinct spaces to slow down, each designed as its own retreat. The 21 sqm private spa, with its panoramic Sky sauna facing the snow-covered peaks, turns recovery into a ritual. Steam, heat, silence, the mountain views through the glass, a ritual you are in no hurry to interrupt.

The 22 sqm home cinema offers a softer, more intimate atmosphere, where evenings naturally extend as night settles over the peaks. Two spaces, distinct in their use yet aligned in purpose: to preserve that rare feeling of being exactly where you should be.

Val d’Isère, a Must-See in the Alps

Val d’Isère is not a place you describe, it is a place you experience. A true reference in the Alps, it brings together what few resorts can match: the guaranteed snow of the Espace Killy and its 300 km of slopes, the iconic silhouette of the Face de Bellevarde, the village’s stone and aged wood architecture, and an après-ski that naturally extends into exceptional dinners. The Olympic cable car is just an eight-minute walk away. The village and its finest addresses are on your doorstep. The private Saunier shuttle completes the rest.

In both winter and summer, Val d’Isère renews itself without ever losing its essence: walks facing the glaciers of the Vanoise, paragliding, golf in Tignes, dog sledding, the mountain reveals its many facets in every season, for those who know how to recognise them.
